Dear Marloes,
Why don't you contact the restaurator here at Aquincum who has built bow
lathes, bits etc. and actually made bone tools of various sorts this way.
Otherwise I'm betting that people doing medieval reinactment would be your
best bet. The name of our restorator is Adam Vecsey (vecseyadam at freemail.hu
).
