[Bonetools] (no subject)

Ah....now I've also seen the rest of this thread....  Yes, Alice, the shape
is very much like a mat needle, although I also haven't seen one that's this
shape and not made on a rib.  Mat needles are often perforated in the
center, although not 100% of the time.

I am attaching one document with a fish stringer and one with some mat
needles, both from ethnographic contexts.  Any thoughts?
