Dear Bly,
Are you sure about the length you gave for this bone object (1.5 inches
= 3.75 cm)? It seems rather small and probably uneasy to use as a
toothbrush...

Does anyone have an idea what this object may be? It is 1.5 inches in
length and was found on a late 17th-century site in South Carolina, USA.
