Dear S. O'Connor,
some 3 hours (only) after we spoke of ivoiries in the amphitheater at
our Museum at the last session on ICAZ Conference, I have seen at the TV
an object in which I had recognized hippo ivory, a Bronze age
pomegranate engraved with an inscription to make a fake. I said the
remark that the writing stops before a brake. My name was not
mentionned. They just said that one, an expert, made the determination
of hippo. I understood hen that I was classified as archaeozoologist, a
sort of technician. It may occur to each of us.

With my best reagards.
