Dear All,
For some reason I have not been able to download the photo of the antler pick so I haven't seen it. If the pick is like thost illustrated by Clutton-Brock, you may like to know that there are a couple of other other extended discussions of antler picks from Britain:

Levitan, B. (1990). The non-human vertebrate remains. In Hazleton North. A. Saville. London, English Heritage: 199-214.
Serjeantson, D. (1995). Antler implements and ox scapula shovels. In Stonehenge in its Landscape: Twentieth-Century Excavations. eds. R. M. J. Cleal, K. E. Walker and R. Montague. London, English Heritage. 10: 414 - 430.

(Though I do see that the email refers to a shaft hole, which is not something you see in antler picks from flint mines and other stes on chalk and limestone in Britain.)
Best wishes,
Dale

Perhaps you could send me a personal email with the photo and I might have more luck downloading it!
