Hi Pam and Doug:
Thanks for your support and for already signing 
the position. Pam, my heart is behind these bones 
as much as yours could be, let me assure you. I 
am in meetings about the physical aspects of the 
lab, and promise to not let go under any 
circumstances. But we are in a weak position as 
you certainly know, and in difficult times. I may 
need to be in touch for more information about 
the collection. So, for now we have heard from 
the deputy director that he shares the general 
concern that these irreplaceable collections not 
be compromised. I'll give you an update when we hear more.
