Dear Bone tool, ICAZ friends,
I want to clarify the message that Omur Harmansah
sent about the situation at the University of
Pennsylvania Museum. One of the outcomes of this
action will be the closing of the zooarchaeology
laboratory at MASCA. At present, there weren't
even any funded positions at MASCA (I supervise
research in this laboratory as a volunteer). But,
our ability to do zooarchaeological research of
any kind, to train students, and to offer
collegial support to others may disappear. I
would indeed appreciate your support in
documenting how much you hope this will not happen.
Thanks to all,

Katherine Moore
