Dear Allice,
Do you still remember that I have sent ten copies of my bilingually
(Japanese-English) described works just before the Second meeting of
WBRG in Budapest in 1999, though I could not participate there?
After that, I published a Book "Flaked Bone Tools: An alternative
perspective on the Palaeolithic" from the University of Tokyo Press,
290 pages with short English summary, in 2001.
Professor Marcel Kornfeld, Director of the George C. Frison Institute
of Archaeology and Anthropology, at the University of Wyoming kindly
arranged and translated Capter 4 of my book in English, which was
discussed on the principles of fracture patterns and processes of bones
using Casper site materials.
It was appeared recently on THE WYOMING ARCHAEOLOGIST, Volume 49(2).
Below attached is the article. This may be a good source on bone
flaking process for members of WBRG.
Best regards,
Akira
