I think that this letter was really meant for the whole list. N.B. those little 
gold astragalii from Varna are precise imitations of small ruminant astragalii 
and what Etan showed us was a Bos t. astragalus wrapped with a bronze 
band. However, it is always good to have another reference for examples of  
'imitation'.

Hello everyone,<br>

We are looking for parallels, information, ideas etc. about a (rare?)
find: an astragalus (knuckle bone) wrapped in bronze. It was found in
Gloska Cuka, Macedonia, in a Hellenistic (1<sup>st</sup> century BCE)
military outpost, together with weapons and a lot of regular astragali,
by a group of archaeologists from Texas and Mecedonia.<br>
