[Bonetools] worn scapulae

OK, European objects are probably very different sometimes from ours here in the desert. But do you really think an organic thread (either from flora or fauna) could make such grooves on a 
bone? 
By the way, do you stop once in a year to think about our ancestors who needed weeks (when lucky) to deliver a message to a friend abroad?

Dear Etan,
    I can't speak for Rosie's scapulae but the tools from Slovenia have 
grooves which are very rounded, very different from true cut marks. All the 
edges are very rounded indicating extemely intense use.
