[Bonetools] ... and the pictures

Dear Erika:
This is a very enimatic object, indeed. My few 
ideas relate to the longer, fluted piece. I am 
wondering if it is a stamp or roller for textile, 
some leather working, ceramic, or even food.
I'll be interested in what the others think
