Dear all,

several colleagues and I are preparing a projectile experiment for the
beginning of 2008. We will have to manufacture some 40 reindeer antler
points (replicas of Magdalenian specimens) and although we have some in
stock, we're afraid we might run short of raw material.

If someone knows where we can buy good quality reindeer antler, available
in the next months, any indication will be welcome (the bigger the better
: the points are 15-20 cm long and 0.6-1 cm thick, so antlers with long,
fairly straight beam and thick compact tissue are a must) !

All the best,

J.M.P.
