Dear Sirs,
Dr. Alice Choyke's email address was passed on to me but the email was returned, so perhaps it was an old address.
I was in contact recently with Dr. Arthur MacGregor at the Ashmolean and he suggested I contact your group as he felt my recently published book would be of interest to members of the Worked Bone Research Group. Full details can be obtained from my website at www.hornhistory.com.au .
I have been fortunate to have had the support of many academics in this project and since I was unable to find a publisher who would consider this subject I decided to self-publish; a limited print run of 1,000.
Self-publishing has many drawbacks, one of which is being outside the usual book distribution system, with the ability to tap directly into the areas in which the book will be of interest.
I hope I have covered all possible points in my first approach, but please do not hesitate to contact me if you want further information.
Regards,
Adele Schaverien
