Dear all,

I was wondering if anyone could help with information regarding a Pine Marten
specimen, a photo can be seen at:
http://www.shef.ac.uk/archaeology/about/zooarchaeology/images.html

This Pine Marten mandible was found at an Iron Age site in Burwell with a large
hole pierced through it. In addition, a complete Pine Marten skeleton was
recovered from a Bronze Age ritual site at Babraham road. Can anyone provide
information about possible ritual use of Pine Marten? Or examples of similar
objects?

Many thanks for any help,

Sarah.
