Dear colleagues,

I'd like to forward you an enquiry from a colleague from Malmö. Since it
is not possible to post pictures into BONETOOLS I would like anyone
interested to send me a short note so that I can send a picture offlist.

Does anyone have seen something similar?

Best wishes

Christian

hallo,

mein Name ist Johan Inwald und ich arbeite für Malmö Kulturmiljö in Malmö
Stadt, Schweden. Ich habe eine identifikazionsprobleme mit einer Artefakte
aus Knochen. Mein deutsch ist sehr schlimm, so ich will in englisch
schreiben.

We have found an artefakt of bone that we are not sure of what it is. It
was found in a medieval farm, sadly in a ditch that we so far can not date
more precise than 1100-1400. We have a lot of ideas but all very vague. No
one have seen something like this before. I have looked into the book
"Knochenarbeit. Artefakte aus tierischen rohstoffen im Wandel der Zeit"
and talked with our experts on bone, and they came up with the idea that I
should write to your network. I hope I have come to the right place. There
is a picture of the item in this email. If you have any questions, just
send an email.

with regards

Johan Ingwald
