Dear colleagues,
        I asked the list adminsitrator if it was posible to send images directly
to the list and he said the listserv system would permit it if the attachment
was in the regular MIME format and the Content-Type is properly set in
the header.  Now, as a computer illiterate this makes only foggy sense to
me but perhaps you smart  computerwise types would like to offer a user
friendly translation so that even people like me people can learn to send
mystery pictures directly to the list.
