Dr. Zhilin:
I would be very interested in including your work in the symposium I intend to organize, particularly the symbolic objects. I don't know about funding for travel to the meetings. They are in Montreal, Canada. Maybe the Society for American Archaeology has funding for international scholars. I will look into it.
In any case, I hope that I can publish the proceeds from the symposium and even if you can't attend the meetings, I would like to include your research in the proceedings.
All the best,
Renee Walker

Dear Renee Walker,

I'm working with Mesolithic and to some extent also Neolithic and Upper Palaeolithic worked bone fr
om Eastern Europe. I'm very interested to present a paper at the symposium, you are going to organi
ze. There are many subjects I can present, including symbolic objects. You are welcome to my websit
e (it has parallel English and Russian texts)to get the idea about my research -http://mizhilin.nar
od.ru
But there is a principal question - is it possible to get a grant or find any sponsor to cover my p
articipation? If not, I can only send a paper for publication.

Yours
Dr. Mike Zhilin
