returning proofs

Dear George,
        I am tempted, very tempted but I had better say no. The people
putting the volume together wold eat me alive. The whole volume
should be sent out to BAR early December. The e-mail was to shake
loose some of the contributers who have been sitting on their proofs
for a month. Let me suggest that you submit your text to the next
bone tool conference proceedings. Even if you cannot actually
attend the meeting I am sure that the Schibler crowd won't refuse to
publish it. Sorry!
