This is just to call to everyoneás attention a new and very
comprehensive book on the bone artifacts from the Swiss Roman site
of Augusta Raurica.  It is comprehensive both in terms of the new
methodology it introduces vis a vis raw material identification, always 
problematic where tools are as overworked as they often are at Roman
and Medieval sites, and raw material exploitation over time. The book
also presents the complete inventory (over 5000 specimens!) from this
important Roman site.
