        I have been in contact with a fascinating man named Dr.
Werner Bachmann whose specialty is in the archaeology of music. This
obviously includes bones, modified to produce sound either by
themselves or as part of more complex instruments. He is basically
interested in any object of this kind from the Near East, Greece,
Trans-Caucasia etc. He has certainly given this subject alot of thought 
and I have found my communications with him quite illuminating.
