Hello,

I am a graduate student in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. I am studying
to be a high school math teacher. I am currently enrolled in a
multicultural education course. I'm looking for ways to bring different
countries views of mathematics into my classroom.

I would appreciate it if you could respond to the following questions. I
am very interested in how people in other countries view mathematics.

1. Name
2. Occupation
3. Education
4. What city do you live in?
5. What country do you live in?
6. Where were you born and raised?
7. What are 3 things that come to mind when you hear the word "math"?
8. Briefly, how do you use math in your daily life?
9. How is math viewed in your country.
10. Do you have any positive experiences with math that you could share?
11. Do you have any negative experiences with math that you could share?

Thank you very much. If there is anything you would like to know about
The States, I would be happy to share what I know.
