The European Archives Group is an official Commission expert group that was established at the beginning of 2006. It is composed of representatives from national archives in EU member countries. EAG LISTSERV is a forum for EAG members to discuss European archives cooperation and coordination activities. The archives of past discussions are available at: EAG Archives. (The current archive is only available to the list members.)
HOW TO USE THIS LISTSERV
To send messages to other members of the list email to eag@listserv.niif.hu. When you send messages to other subscribers, you are advised to fill in the subject line with a short and meaningful description of your posting. Your message will be forwarded to everyone who has signed up for the list, but you will not receive a copy of your own postings. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to EAG
Subscribe to EAG by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
